 In line with our commitment to continuous improvement, Sensors and Controls Product Line is announcing an update to our Model 83 Precision Potentiometer.
In order to build a more robust product, we will be shortening the terminals from a length of 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) to 6.35 mm (0.25 inch). The change is being made to help prevent terminal damage during assembly and packaging. The photos below show the current terminal length and the new terminal length.  This upgrade will be implemented with date code 1009M. There are no changes to prices currently listed in the 2009/2010 Distribution Price Book for this product upgrade. Please refer to the online Model 83 data sheet for the updated outline dimensions. |
